Therapyx Announces BIO 2026 Attendance and Partnering Meetings with Investors and Industry Leaders
BUFFALO, NY., May 15, 2026 – Therapyx, Inc., an IND-stage pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing microencapsulated immune-modulating biologics designed to deliver potent protein based immune therapy directly to disease microenvironments, is pleased to announce its attendance at the 2026 BIO International Convention and participation in BIO Partnering™, taking place June 22–25, 2026, in San Diego, California. The BIO International Convention is the largest and most comprehensive event for biotechnology, representing the full ecosystem of biotech with 20,000 industry leaders from around the world.
Mr. Benjamin D. Green, Chief Communications Officer, and Dr. Dominick L. Auci, Chief Operating Officer, will present updates on PCX12 and FAPXIL development to potential investors and other interested parties. Mr. Green and Dr. Auci will be available for individual meetings during the conference to discuss clinical development strategy and potential business development opportunities.
About PCX12™: PCX12 aims at pancreatic cancer and glioma, for which Therapyx has been awarded orphan designations. It consists of the key immune regulatory cytokine interleukin 12, formulated for intratumoral delivery and sustained release. Its putative immune mechanism of action includes changes in the tumor microenvironment that unmask “immunologically cold” (i.e., largely invisible to the immune system) tumors, and enhance incipient or dormant anti-tumor immune responses. Local tumors, as well as distant metastases, are attacked and killed by the resurgent immune response, especially when combined with radiation.
About FAPXIL™: FAPXIL is a first-in-class oral microencapsulated Interleukin 10 therapy in late preclinical development for familial adenomatous polyposis, a rare inherited GI disorder with high unmet need and limited non-surgical treatment options. Oral FAPXIL’s localized delivery of IL-10 to gut immune structures may also impact colorectal cancer as well as inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, potentially expanding FAPXIL’s indications beyond oncology. Such expansion will validate ExStaM’s potential for oral delivery of all biologics.
About ExSTaM™: The company’s proprietary ExStaM platform uses mild encapsulation of biologics into biodegradable micro/nanoparticles to enable localized, sustained release, reduce systemic exposure, and improve shelf stability. Therapyx is applying ExStaM to high-value indications where powerful immune mediators have been limited by toxicity, poor delivery, or lack of practical formulation strategies
